Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Blockstar Holdings Ltd. ("Lingo", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects information when you access or use Lingo websites, applications, wallet-connected features, rewards, staking interfaces, promotional experiences, and related services.

This Policy applies to information collected online through the Services, including app.lingocoin.io and www.lingocoin.io. It does not apply to third-party websites, wallets, blockchains, applications, social platforms, analytics providers, or other services that we do not control.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that we will handle information as described in this Privacy Policy.

We collect account, wallet, device, usage, rewards, referral, support, compliance, and transaction-related information.

We use information to operate Lingo, personalize features, provide rewards, secure the product, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, and communicate with users.

You may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, object to, or opt out of certain processing, depending on where you live.

1. Scope and consent

This Privacy Policy covers information we collect directly from you, automatically from your device or wallet interactions, from public blockchains, from service providers, from business partners, and from publicly available sources.

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Terms of Service and any supplemental rules that apply to specific features, rewards, raffles, staking interfaces, campaigns, or community activities.

If you do not want us to process information as described in this Policy, do not use the Services.

2. Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you use the Services, what features you access, and what information you choose to provide.

Information you provide

  • Contact information, such as name, email address, social handles, and communication preferences.
  • Account and profile information, such as usernames, connected social accounts, referral codes, badges, preferences, reward selections, and support history.
  • Support and communications information, including messages, attachments, feedback, survey responses, claim details, and other information you send to us.
  • Rewards, promotions, and claim information, such as eligibility details, entries, prize claim information, shipping or fulfillment details, tax information, and documents needed to verify a claim.
  • Compliance information, such as identity, residency, sanctions-screening, fraud-review, source-of-funds, KYC, AML, or other documentation that may be required before you access certain features or claim certain rewards.

Wallet, blockchain, and transaction information

  • Wallet addresses, wallet connection status, public blockchain transactions, token balances, staking activity, claims, smart contract interactions, network identifiers, gas or transaction metadata, and similar Web3 information.
  • Information inferred from public blockchains or blockchain analytics providers, such as risk signals, sanctions exposure, fraud indicators, wallet clustering signals, or compliance screening results.
  • Because public blockchains are generally transparent and immutable, information about wallet activity may remain public even if you stop using the Services or ask us to delete information we control.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and technical information, such as IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, language, time zone, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and approximate location derived from IP address.
  • Usage information, such as pages viewed, buttons clicked, feature interactions, reward activity, referral activity, session duration, error logs, performance data, and event analytics.
  • Security and fraud information, such as login events, wallet connection events, device fingerprints, rate-limit events, abuse signals, automated activity indicators, and suspicious behavior patterns.
  • Cookie and similar technology information, including analytics, preference, security, performance, attribution, and marketing identifiers.

Information from third parties

  • Service providers, including hosting, analytics, customer support, email, security, fraud prevention, wallet infrastructure, identity verification, KYC/AML, blockchain analytics, payment, fulfillment, and marketing providers.
  • Business partners, campaign partners, referral partners, promotion partners, and reward fulfillment partners.
  • Public sources, social platforms, wallet providers, blockchain networks, data brokers, advertising networks, analytics providers, and other sources permitted by applicable law.

3. How we collect information

  • Directly from you when you fill forms, connect accounts, connect wallets, contact support, claim rewards, join promotions, complete tasks, subscribe to updates, or otherwise submit information.
  • Automatically through cookies, pixels, local storage, SDKs, server logs, analytics tools, wallet connection events, and similar technologies.
  • From public blockchains when you connect a wallet, interact with smart contracts, stake, claim, transfer, or otherwise use Web3 features.
  • From third parties and publicly available sources, including service providers, partners, social platforms, wallet providers, blockchain analytics providers, and compliance vendors.

4. Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, SDKs, local storage, server logs, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, understand usage, measure campaigns, improve performance, detect abuse, and support marketing or attribution.

The old version of this Policy referenced Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Twitter, Hotjar, and Cookie3. We may use these or similar analytics, attribution, advertising, and product-measurement providers from time to time.

You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, some Services may not work properly. Where required by law, we will provide additional cookie choices or consent tools.

7. How we disclose information

We may disclose information as described below. We do not sell personal information for money. However, some privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly, and certain analytics, advertising, or attribution activities may be considered a sale or sharing under those laws.

  • Corporate group. We may disclose information to subsidiaries, affiliates, parent companies, and entities under common control.
  • Service providers. We may disclose information to vendors that help with hosting, infrastructure, analytics, support, email, security, fraud prevention, identity verification, KYC/AML, blockchain analytics, wallet infrastructure, marketing, payment, tax, legal, accounting, and reward fulfillment.

  • Legal and safety recipients. We may disclose information to courts, regulators, law enforcement, government authorities, counterparties, advisers, or affected users if we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, enforce our terms, investigate abuse, protect safety, or defend rights.
  • Business transfers. We may disclose or transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, change of control, or similar transaction.
  • With your consent or direction. We may disclose information when you ask us to do so or consent to the disclosure.
  • Aggregated or de-identified information. We may disclose information that does not reasonably identify you without restriction.

8. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, administer accounts, honor user choices, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, enforce agreements, maintain security, support audits, and keep appropriate business records.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the feature involved, legal requirements, operational needs, security risks, and whether information is needed for fraud prevention, compliance, tax, accounting, or dispute purposes.

We may retain certain information after you stop using the Services, including records needed for compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and enforcement. Public blockchain records are not controlled by Lingo and may persist indefinitely.

9. International transfers

Lingo is based in Seychelles and uses service providers, infrastructure, and partners that may process information in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from your local laws.

Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections, compliance reviews, transfer impact assessments, or other mechanisms recognized by applicable law.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@lingocoin.io and we will take reasonable steps to delete the information where required.

14. Third-party websites and services

The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, wallets, blockchains, social platforms, exchanges, bridges, payment providers, identity providers, analytics tools, advertising networks, reward partners, and other services.

We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their privacy, security, content, or data practices. Review the privacy policies and terms of those third parties before using them.

15. Automated processing, fraud signals, and profiling

We may use automated or semi-automated systems to help detect fraud, bots, duplicate accounts, Sybil activity, wallet risk, sanctions exposure, reward abuse, security threats, eligibility issues, and Terms violations.

These systems may affect access to certain features, rewards, claims, or promotions. Where required by law, you may request information about or review of decisions that significantly affect you.

16. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and post the revised Policy on the Services.

If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where required by law. Your continued use of the Services after a revised Policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the revised Policy.

17. Contact information
