Do I need to know crypto to use Lingo?
Lingo offers a third-party card checkout where available. You can also use a compatible wallet with Uniswap on Base or buy through a supported exchange. Review the requirements shown by the route you choose before completing a purchase.
What's the difference between Power Miles, Lingo Score, and Shards? They all sound the same.
They're three separate things that do three separate jobs. Lingo Score climbs when you stake, play, trade, or refer; it determines your tier and never gets spent. Power Miles are earned automatically while staking and used on extra wheel spins, raffles, and smashing asteroids. Shards are a one-time bonus you get for depositing your stake 3+ months and are used for Mystery Boxes.

What actually happens after I stake?
The moment your stake is active, two things start accumulating automatically every day: Power Miles and Lingo Score points. You don't need to do anything to trigger this; it runs in the background.
What's the difference between flexible staking and locked staking?
Flexible means you can unstake anytime, but you earn fewer Power Miles and Lingo Score points per day. Depositing for 3, 6, or 12 months earns more each day, and depositing 3+ months also gives you a one-time Shards bonus upfront.
Is my staked LINGO safe?
It sits in a public smart contract on the blockchain, not in Lingo's bank account. We can't touch it, freeze it, or lose it. If the Lingo website went offline, your LINGO would still be there and you could withdraw directly from the contract.
Lingo Score & Tiers
I'm staking more than $2,500. Am I getting anything extra beyond Legend tier?
Legend is the top tier, but the benefits inside Legend scale with your activity, not just your stake size. If you're staking significantly more than $2,500, your daily Power Miles and Lingo Score accumulation will be proportionally higher.
Do tiers reset? Can I fall back down?
Tiers are sticky. Once you reach a tier, you keep it as long as you maintain at least some active stake. Lingo Score resets monthly, but the tier itself doesn't drop unless you fully unstake.

What are the odds of winning each prize on the wheel?
Each prize slot has a displayed probability shown on the wheel itself, so you can see your chances at every prize before you spin.
How do I know if a raffle is open?
Open raffles show a live countdown and ticket price. Upcoming raffles show when they open. You can only buy tickets for raffles that are currently open.
